About Medina

Municipal Court

The Medina Municipal Court is located at 135 North Elmwood Ave. at the corner of North Elmwood and West Friendship (northeast of the Medina Square). Judge Dale Chase presides over the court.

Jurisdiction of the Court:
The Court is authorized to hear misdemeanor criminal and traffic cases which involve offenses committed within its geographic jurisdiction, and civil cases within its jurisdiction when the amount in dispute is $15,000 or less. The Small Claims Division of the Court deals with civil cases in which the amount is $3,000 or less. The Court's geographic jurisdiction includes the cities of Brunswick and Medina; the townships of Brunswick Hills, Chatham, Granger, Hinckley, Lafayette, Litchfield, Liverpool, Medina, Montville, Spencer, and York; and the villages of Chippewa Lake and Spencer.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
