The Director of Finance is the chief fiscal officer of the City and as such assists the Council in the preparation of the city’s annual budget, appropriations and all other financial matters.
The Finance Department under the direction of the Finance Director is responsible for the accurate accounting of all receipts, disbursements, assets, liabilities ,assessments and collects all monies due for the City of Medina. The Finance Department also records and prints water/rubbish billings, prepares payroll, maintains city investments and fixed assets. The Finance Department represents the city fully in all financial matters and abides by all mandates governing proper fiscal controls.
