Keith H. Dirham, C.P.A.
Keith Dirham has been Finance Director for the City of Medina for the past ten years. Before becoming Medina’s Finance Director, Keith Dirham spent four years overseeing the financial operations of local governments and advising cities and school districts throughout Northeast Ohio as an employee of the State Auditor’s Office under State Auditor Jim Petro. Keith Dirham is a Certified Public Accountant, a member and past president of the North Central Ohio Municipal Finance Officers Association, a member of the Government Finance Officers Association of Ohio where he serves on the Education Committee, and a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Keith Dirham is a lifetime resident of the City of Medina, a graduate of Medina High School, and a graduate of The Ohio State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree with Majors in Accounting and Management Information Systems, Finance, and Real Estate and Urban Analysis.
Keith Dirham is a member of numerous local organizations including the Medina Kiwanis Club where he was a past board member and the Friends of Scouting program where, as an Eagle Scout, he volunteers in a fundraising capacity. Additionally, Keith Dirham has participated in numerous charity fundraisers including the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Lock-Up fundraiser and has given to the American Red Cross Blood Drive through the annual Bankers vs. Barristers blood drive. Keith Dirham also annually volunteers as a consultant for the American Legion Buckeye Boy’s State Program where he teaches the basics of municipal accounting to those boys elected as City Auditors and Treasurers.
Sharon Goodman
Sharon Goodman has been Deputy Finance Director for the City of Medina for the past three years. Before becoming Medina’s Deputy Finance Director, Sharon Goodman spent 17 years with the City of Olmstead Falls including 14 years as Assistant Finance Director. Sharon Goodman received certification from the Kent State University Public Finance Treasury Certification Program and has received training from the State Treasurer’s Center for Public Investment Management program.
Sharon Goodman is a resident of the City of Medina and a member of the Government Finance Officers Association of Ohio, the Association of Public Treasurers. Sharon Goodman is also certified as a Municipal Finance Officer through the Association of Public Treasurers Certification Program.
Dar Jacobs
Dar Jacobs has been Payroll Clerk for the City of Medina for the past six years. Before becoming Medina’s Payroll Clerk, Dar Jacobs worked in other departments of the City for four years. Prior to joining the City of Medina, Dar Jacobs spent nine years working in State and County government and 10 years working in accounts payable and accounts receivable in the manufacturing and healthcare fields.
Dar Jacobs is a lifetime resident of the City of Medina, and a graduate of Medina High School, and attended the University of Akron.
Kathy Byers
Kathy Byers has been Accounts Payable Clerk for the City of Medina for nine years. Before becoming Medina’s Accounts Payable Clerk, Kathy Byers worked in other departments of the City for one year. Prior to joining the City of Medina, Kathy Byers worked in the Automotive and Healthcare fields in Purchasing and Inventory Control.
Kathy Byers is a 16 year resident of the Medina area.
Veneta Bassman
Veneta Bassman assumed the duties of Utility Billing Clerk for the City of Medina in July, 2011. Before becoming Medina's Utility Billing Clerk, Veneta Bassman worked for the City in the Service Department as the Water Account Clerk for the previous fifteen years. Veneta Bassman began part-time with the City of Medina as a secretary for the Parks and Recreation Department in 1992. Veneta Bassman also spent fourteen years workin as secretarial support in medical and church offices.
Veneta Bassman has lived in the Medina area for twenty-one years and has an Associates Degree from Sinclair Community college in Dayton, Ohio.
Ann Beauchamp
Ann Beauchamp has been Cashier for the City of Medina for the past seven years. Before becoming Medina’s cashier, Ann Beauchamp spent 12 years working for the City on a part-time basis in the Finance and Service departments.
Ann Beauchamp has lived in the Medina area for 22 years including 17 years in the City of Medina.
Cindy Zweifel
Cindy Zweifel has been a part-time Accounting Clerk for the City of Medina for four years. Before working for the City of Medina, Cindy Zweifel spent eight years working in accounts receivable in the manufacturing industry and 11 years working at Buckeye Local Schools and five years in the banking industry.
Cindy Zweifel is a lifetime resident of the Medina area, a graduate of Buckeye High School, and attended adult and continuing education classes at Polaris Vocational School.
