| Art in the Park draws thousands to Medina's Square |
Each year, millions of people visit the greater Medina area to enjoy our unique blend of big-city amenities and small-town charm. Medina's quaint uptown offers an array of shopping, dining and cultural activities to fit every budget. From well-known retail stores north of the Square to the unique boutiques that are part of the Historic District, Medina's eclectic mix of shops beckons even the most hesitant shopper. Money Magazine and Ohio Magazine recognized the uniqueness of Medina by awarding the city as one of the "Top 100 Most Livable Small Towns in America" and "Best Hometown in Ohio", respectively.
A Main Street certified City, The City, Main Street Medina, and our businesses have continued to grow the recognition of the Square as a destination spot in northeast Ohio. Events such as the Ice Festival, Art in the Park, Affair on the Square (a large craft's festival), Shakespeare, Twin Sizzler Race, Candlelight Walk, and International Fest attract thousands of residents and visitors to the district.
