The City of Medina maintains two cemeteries: Old Towne Graveyard and Spring Grove Cemetery.

The Old Towne Cemetery is located on East Liberty Street and was given to Medina by Elijah Boardman in the early 1800's and is the resting place of Medina's earliest settlers. It is no longer used for burials.

Spring Grove Cemetery is located on South Spring Grove Street and dates back to the 1880's. Burial sites and a cremains section are available in this cemetery. In 2016 the City of Medina and the Friends of the Cemetery completed construction on a new maintenance building and office facility at Spring Grove Cemetery.  If you have any questions regarding this project please call the Parks Office at 330-721-6950.

Please be advised that the Summer Clean off will be October 19, 20 and 21. Please remove any statuary and / or keepsake items before October 19th. Flags will be collected after Veteran's Day which is observed on November 11th.
