City Code Enforcement Inspector


 The City of Medina is accepting RESUMES ONLY for a part-time (max. of 29 hrs/week) non-union, Code Enforcement Inspector. This individual will perform administrative and professional work relating to enforcing planning, zoning, and other community development plans and adopted codes. A high school diploma or GED required, but an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Additionally, experience enforcing zoning and property maintenance codes required along with a valid driver’s license. Must have knowledge of Ohio planning and zoning laws, as well as federal, state and local laws, regulations, ordinances and standards applicable to planning and community development. Will assist in covering the duties of the Building/Property Maintenance Inspector as needed. Must be skilled in word processing and spreadsheet software applications. Starting wage will be $24.66 per hour. Submit a detailed resume and any relevant certification to the Medina Civil Service Office, 132 N.
