Medina Community Recreation Center is accepting applications for the position of Lifeguard. Flexible hours. Not certified? MCRC will offer an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course on Tuesdays October 29 – November 12 from 11 am to 2:30 pm. Must be at least 15 years old by the last day of class and pass a pre-course swimming skills test prior to taking the course. Once you have registered, call the Aquatics Department to set up an appointment for the test – 330-721-6943. Prerequisite test is: Swim 20 yards, surface dive and retrieve a 10# brick from 7-10’ depth and swim back 20 yards within I minute 40 seconds. Swim 300 yards using front crawl and breast stroke. Tread water 2 minutes with legs only. All classes are mandatory, no exceptions, and no refunds after the 1st day of class. $38 fee to American Red Cross due on first day of class.

Front Desk Attendants
Duties include greeting patrons, monitoring facility access, answering questions and concerns, overseeing front desk operations, and answering and directing phone calls. 10-20 hours per week.
